Gerhard van Eeden (the old man) is the owner and accountable manager of the school. Gerhard has 7000 hours of flight time including more than 4000 hours as flight instructor. He also has 1000 hours of command time on Beech 1900 airliners and 500 hours on Cessna Caravans. Gerhard has among others flown for United Nations World Food Program, Doctors without Borders, and DHL in the Sudan, the Congo, the Middle East. He brought that wealth of experience back to grass root level when he started the school in 2009. Gerhard is passionate about young people and loves to set them up for a successful life in the wonderful world of aviation.
