No, we will train you from the ground up. You do not need any qualifications or certificates before applying.
Yes, it is preferable that students arrive fluent in English. We do have a language school as an extension of the flight school where we perform english proficiency tests, this will be necessary at a certain point in your training.
The PPL course can be finished in 3 months if a student is commited and has adequate funding. The CPL course takes about 18/20 months to complete.
yes, ground school is a mandatory requirement.
We currently have 6 Sling 2's and a Piper Twin Comannche.
We offer night ratings on our sling 2's; multi engine ratings and IF ratings via our Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche.
MBSF is a pay as you go school. We require that you have funds in you account before every flight but we do not ask for set installments or bulk payments.
The price in USD is the rand price converted at the current exchange rate.
Our prices are subject to a yearly increase. Our prices also fluctuate with the fuel price, if fuel decreases so will our prices.
Yes, we require a deposit to process an application and send a letter of acceptance. However when a refund of the deposit is requested we will have no issues.
The school partners with third party people to offer our students accommodation. We do not however have official MBSF accommodation. Any student is always welcome to seek accommodation of there own.
The third party accomodation within walking distance of the school ranges between 5000 and 6500 Rands per month.
