For those pilots this section is the total cost of training. It is obviously more cost efficient to incorporate the Multi Engine Training into the CPL from the start. Indeed in our experience hardly any pilots choose to do the CPL on Single Engine, even though it is a little cheaper. For pilots who are planning on doing a Multi Engine CPL from the start, this section therefore completes the CPL training and the cost of it should be added to the cost of the CPL as indicated above. 6 hours of ME training for conversion R19 800 5 hours for ME Instrument Training R16 500 Briefings and lectures R1 050 Course material R 250 Flight test with Designated Flight Examiner R1 800 License fees R430 Courier, postage and handling agent R290 TOTAL FOR THIS SECTION R 40 120 GRAND TOTAL FOR TRAING FROM ZERO EXPERIENCE TO CPL WITH IFR ON MULTI ENGINE R 239 705 OR FOR SINGLE ENGINE CPL For pilots who choose to do a single engine CPL, the following cost should be added to the cost of the CPL as indicated above. 6 hours instrument training with instructor on basic training aircraft R6 570 5 hours of CPL prep and Instrument Training on advanced aircraft R9 500 Briefings and lectures R1 000 Fight Test with Designated Flight Examiner R1 800 License Fees R430 Postage, couriers and handling agent R290 TOTAL FOR THIS SECTION R19 590 GRAND TOTAL FROM ZERO EXPERIENCE TO CPL WITH IFR ON SINGLE ENGINE AIRCRAFT R 219 175
